PEI Premier Heifer Show at Crapaud Exhibition

Entries are now being accepted for the 2019 PEI Premier Heifer Show at Crapaud Exhibition.

The show will take place on July 27, 2019, Garnet Schellen will be the judge for the day.

4-H Showmanship starts at 11am, Conformation classes will start at 1pm.  Pee Wee Showmanship at 12:45

PEI Dairy Youth Trust Fund Scholarship

Prince Edward Island Dairy Youth Trust Scholarship
This $1000.00 bursary is available to the son or daughter of a PEI resident currently pursuing their studies at a post secondary level and planning a career in agriculture. Preference will be given to undergraduate students with an interest in animal science, animal genetics and/ or business. The student must have successfully completed at least the first year of a University/College program. No individual will be eligible for a second award. Unsuccessful applicants may reapply as many times as eligible. Application Form.

PEI Holsteins Annual Meeting

10am January 29, 2019 at Rodd Royalty.  Lunch provided.

 We are pleased to announce that Pierrette DesRosiers will be our afternoon Speaker,
her session will start at 1pm.   Pierrette Desrosiers, MPS, CRHA is a work psychologist, professional speaker, business coach and author who specializes in the agricultural industry. She comes from a family of farmers and she and her husband farmed for more than 25 years. She has worked with 350+ family businesses in her professional life. Pierrette is interested, among other things, in the many human challenges in the agricultural sector, as well as in the business environment. Her years of work with agricultural producers, have also allowed her to see the dizzying growth of stress and psychological distress in the industry. She was able to see the urgency of tackling this major problem, which is also present in the corporate environment. Her approach is innovative and dynamic. Her ability to make a real difference in the lives of those she meets, makes Pierrette one of the most appreciated speakers, as revealed by the many testimonials. At the same time, it stands out in both the agricultural and corporate sectors, both in Quebec and in Canada.
